Samantha Downey is a loan officer with Home Town Mortgage, based in Alpharetta GA. After graduating from Georgia Tech in 2014, Samantha worked for a local business consulting firm in Atlanta. She jumped into the world of Real Estate later in 2015 and quickly grew as a top producing Realtor in the Atlanta-metro area, selling over 50 homes a year. 

When the pandemic began to shut the world down in 2020, Samantha began to find herself with more down time and decided to pursue an additional career, Loan Originating, and closed over $10MM in volume within her first 6 months. After witnessing the Home Town Mortgage team deliver exceptional service and pricing during a real estate transaction in 2021, she knew she had to join this father-son team and has never looked back. 

She is equipped with the knowledge of both an agent and loan officer, and always strives to use that experience to provide a simple approach to the home buying process. Samantha resides in Marietta with her husband (Drew), daughter (Leighton), and two dogs (Wrigley & Fenway). When she’s not working, she loves spending time with her family, working out, attending church, and playing golf with friends.
